Chinese Cold Neutron Radiography System
RadSci and Scitek have also designed the neutron beam stop for the Chinese customer to manufacture. All components of the system are controlled from one of three PCs by the customised software (based on LabView). Also included in the system software are the programs Octopus for CT reconstruction and VGStudio Max for 3D image display and analysis.
The imaging system was successfully tested on a neutron beamline at the SINQ spallation neutron source of the Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland. The system was installed in China before Xmas 2013 and is now producing high resolution cold NR images.
